What Aerofen is and what it is used for:

Aerofen® is a preparation of Ketotifen which has antiallergic & anti-anaphylactic properties is used in the prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma & symptomatic treatment of allergic conditions including rhinitis & conjunctivitis.The prophylactic activity of Aerofen® may take several weeks to become fully established. Aerofen® will not abort established attacks of asthma.

How to take Aerofen:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Possible side effects:

Drowsiness, and in isolated cases dry mouth and slight dizziness may occur at the beginning of treatment but usually disappear spontaneously after a few days.

How to store Aerofen:

Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
