Description
Dorsal spines (total): 8; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines: 2; Anal soft rays: 8. Max length : 14.0 cm. Depth range 1 - 15 m.
Distribution
Western Pacific: Tokyo Bay to Taiwan and southward along the western Pacific. Reported from Samoa. Présent in New Caledonia.
Biology
Occurs along cliffs and slightly deep water, in coral reef crevices. Nocturnal species. Forms small and large aggregations.
