Colonies of Sarcophyton were common on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs.
Like Lobophytum, Sarcophyton has larger polyps interspersed among more crowded small ones.
This one could be another species.
Sarcophyton was subject to coral bleaching during warm water episodes.
