His facial expression is definitely one of a Yoda that’s embraced the dark side :). I also like the way you’ve sculpted and painted the fabric of his cape.
I am curious about his legs though. They seem too spindly to me. But maybe this is how Yoda’s been portrayed else where? I just picture Yoda with a heavier lower body.

hahahaha… i almost fell off my chair when i saw this…
i like the way u captured yoda’s features… and made him grimmer…
i just have a minor nitpicking… yoda always has this sleepy look in the eyes… that was reasonable if he’s jedi, because he’s into zen or something… but i just thought that as a sith, you could make him stare harder and eliminate the sleepy look…

i always had the idea that yoda was a redeemed gollum…
just like gollum and the emperor, his present form is a result of corruption from the dark side.
i can totally imagine yoda starting life not in the form he is now (despite the unfortunate presence of “yaddle” into the sw universe) but almost like an elf…

they were a group of shamanistic force users on some back woods planet. and then some terrible tragedy struck that forced yoda to make a choice… for the best of intentions… but it lead to the dark side.
and it shriveled him as it did the emperor. as it did gollum.
and then he changed his ways because of some other great event in his life.
so when yoda speaks against the dark side, he is not an innocent speaking of ways he has no idea about. rather, it is the words of someone who knows intimately, from first hand how the dark side really is.

Cool idea. I would add more of the original green back into his skin. I like the idea of making it less saturated, to make him look more pale, but I wouldn’t get rid of the green completely. Also, beef up the light saber beam, yours looks a tad thin.

Yeah, Dustin, I saw that Darth Yoda pic after I drew the concept, right before I started modeling. I was actually surprised that a Sith Yoda wasn’t a more common idea.
