Mrs. Eleanor Wyndham-beckford Cushing (Edith’s Mother)

image

She is the first ghost to be seen by Edith along with the audience. She appears twice warning Edith of Crimson Peak.

Pamela Upton (Thomas’ First Wife)

image

She appears in the hallway and earlier in her wheel chair as an invisible being. It appears she may have been hanged after a time of poisoning. She was old and used a wheel chair, so it appears her ghost crawls instead of walks for this reasoning. Her ring finger missing upon Lucille getting her ring back. Perhaps died in the nude. ((Update)) Lucille did in fact strangle her.

Margaret McDermott (Thomas’ Second Wife)

image

It is believed she was the first Ghost seen inside of Allerdale Hall going up the lift. Also the one to watch Edith in the bath and play ball with the dog. She also is missing her ring finger, removed in Lucille’s wish to get her ring back. Face bashed in, perhaps hated more. Died in clothing.

Enola Sciotti (Thomas’ Third Wife)

image

She is seen floating in the stairway holding baby Sharpe. It is not known for sure, but believed her ring finger is in tact. A sign of at least giving some grace for trying to save Lucille’s baby. May have died in clothing, unsure.

Baby Sharpe

image

Is the only baby ghost in the movie. Seen in Enola’s arms.
Believed may have been smothered in sleep or poisoned by Lucille.

Lady Beatrice Alexandra Sharpe (the Sharpe Siblings Mother)

image

She appears in the bath and in the hallway.
She brings warning of future events to Edith that soon become true.
Killed by Lucille time after her husband. It is believed Lucille smashed her head against the side of the tub to stun her before bringing down the blow with the meat clever, killing and splitting her skull.

Lady Lucille Sharpe

image

Forever haunting the piano she so loved to play.

Sir Thomas Sharpe

image

Briefly haunted his clay digger. Believed that he turned it on to help confuse Lucille and give Edith a chance. He later moved on.

Others

It is unknown if the other shadows seen are the wives or perhaps the Sharpe’s father or maybe even Edith’s.
But if you may known, do give me a pm.

(Possibly) James William Sharpe

image

This shadowy figure strides by behind Edith before she is violently pulled to the floor.

Could it be James gripping her wrist and tossing her?
