Brief stints with the Seattle Mariners and Houston Astros wrapped up Felder's professional career over the '93 and '94 seasons. Felder was a switch-hitting outfielder who finished with a .249 batting average, 14 home runs, 564 hits, and his 161 stolen bases put him in the top 500 for bases swiped in a career.

Felder has a coaching background that includes work with the San Francisco Giants in 1999 and the now defunct Montereal Expos in 2000.

Felder was born in Vallejo, CA and grew up in Richmond, CA.
