About Patrick:
In his last season as a Royal the senior captain hopes to end his campaign with style. After qualifying for the outdoor national meet in the 4x400m relay. Patrick hopes to make a return trip their as well as qualify for the indoor national meet in the same event.  As a Junior captain in 2016, Patrick will have an increased role both on and off the track in his third season with the Royals. After suffering a back injury before the start of the 2015 campaign, Patrick was limited during the Indoor season but bounced back to earn a personal best in the 400 (49.99), finishing sixth in the MIAC Outdoor Championships. He also qualified for the finals in the 200, finishing 9th, but the highlight came in the 4x1 relay. Patrick ran the second leg as the Royals stormed to a Conference Championship, winning with race in 42.26. He also helped the Royals to a fifth place finish in the 4x400 to close out the meet. During his freshman season, Patrick notched a career best time of 50.95 in the Indoor 400 which was also good enough for sixth place at the MIAC Indoor Championships. In addition, he captured a personal record in the 200 during the outdoor season, crossing the line in 22.12 seconds.  After a healthy offseason in preparation for 2016, Patrick is excited to get the season underway. In addition, the native of Evanston, Illinois will be welcoming his younger brother Carl to the team this season.
