Adults: Yellow fringe along entire caudal fin as well as back edge of back and anal fin. Juvenile with white band at the head.

Habitat : Inhabits rock and coral reefs, 3-30 m. Feeds on sponges and sea squirts.
Distribution : Andaman Sea, Indonesia, PNG the Philippines to SW Japan.
