This 2004 BMW K1200RS is finished in white with blue accents and is powered by a 1,171cc DOHC inline-four paired with a six-speed transmission. Equipment includes an enclosed driveshaft, a full fairing, an adjustable windscreen, a two-up seat, a parcel rack, a Telelever front end, a Paralever single-sided swingarm, split-spoke alloy wheels, triple anti-lock disc brakes, BMW-branded side cases, and a tank bag mount. The bike was acquired by the current owner in February 2022, and service in March 2023 included flushing the brake fluid and changing the oil. This K1200RS is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with a tool roll, a flat tire repair kit, two keys, and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
The fully-faired bodywork is finished in white with blue accents. Additional equipment includes an adjustable windscreen, a stepped two-up seat, a parcel rack, a carbon-fiber fuel tank protector, integrated front turn signals, and both center and side stands. A pair of black plastic BMW-branded side cases accompany the motorcycle. The seller notes paint scratches on the right side of the fairing, and close-up photos identifying additional blemishes can be viewed in the gallery below.
Silver-finished alloy wheels measuring 17″ up front and 18″ out back are wrapped in Dunlop Roadsmart II tires with production date codes from 2017. Anti-lock braking components include BMW-branded multi-piston calipers mounted over a pair of drilled rotors up front in addition to a single caliper and a drilled rotor out back. Suspension consists of a Telelever front end as well as an adjustable monoshock mounted to the single-sided Paralever swingarm, which doubles as the driveshaft enclosure. The brake fluid was flushed in March 2023.
Adjustable clip-on handlebars are mounted above the upper triple clamp, and they are equipped with individual turn signal switches and heated hand grips. The instrument panel contains a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 80 of which were ridden under current ownership.
The 1,171cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four is equipped with Bosch Motronic engine management as well as a four-into-one exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 130 horsepower and 85 lb-ft of torque. The engine oil was changed in March 2023.
Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a hydraulically operated single-plate dry clutch, a six-speed transmission, and an enclosed driveshaft.
A tool roll will accompany the motorcycle along with two keys and a flat tire repair kit.
