restaurant review 392 – Indonesian food at De Vegetarische Toko in The Hague! Everything is vegan except for the Spekkoek (vegetarian) – (why not make it vegan? – I forgot to ask!).

This place is primarily for take away. There are only 2 tables with 4 chairs each, and they dont take reservations it seems (we had tried phoning and apping them several times in the morning to know whether they would be open and if we could reserve a place, but no answer, so just went at 3PM and hoped we could get a seat).

This is from a visit in October of 2022.

We had a lovely meal: shared a vegan ricetable (39,95€).
Not so cosy setting, the counter fridge does make a lot of noise. But we did enjoy the food very much 👍
Some things quite spicy, but just at the edge of what we can manage 😁

♿️ accessibility: there’s a small step to get in. No accessible toilet.

Gave them a Happy Cow window sticker. Hope they put it up! 😊
