Lobed brain coral　/　Largebrain root coral

Widely distributed in the central and western Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Inhabits various sections of reef slopes and reef ponds where frequent waves are present. Individual corals will grow up to 4cm in diameter forming a large colony with a hemispherical shape. Its colors are brown or grey. They are hermaphroditic.
