Deutsch: Tagsüber wird mit einer Solarzelle ein kleiner Akku mit einer Spannung von zum Beispiel 1,2 V aufgeladen. Die gespeicherte Energie dient dazu, abends eine LED leuchten zu lassen. Da 1,2 V nicht genügen, um die LED leuchten zu lassen, wird ein Aufwärtswandler benutzt, welcher periodisch (bei hoher Frequenz, zum Beispiel 200 kHz) mithilfe einer Induktivität (Spule) einen Puls von rund 3 V erzeugt. Dieser bringt die LED ohne Vorwiderstand zum Leuchten. Steuerung und Aufwärtswandlung übernimmt ein integrierter Schaltkreis (IC). Häufig ist das der Typ YX8018 oder ein ähnlicher. Die Schaltung enthält nur wenige, billige Bauelemente. Der IC schaltet die Entladung des Akkus und damit die LED erst bei Dunkelheit ein, wobei die Solarzelle als Sensor dient. Außerdem schaltet der IC die Entladung des Akkus bei niedriger Spannung ab, um ihn vor Tiefentladung zu schützen. |
