Description
English: Relative directions/locations of rostral and caudal / occipital in a human skull. The occipital bone (Os occipitale) that occupies the occipital area of the skull (functionally part of the skull base in apes and humans) to which, in turn, the directional term occipital refers, is highlighted in green.
Deutsch: Bezugsrichtungen der anatomischen Attribute rostral und kaudal / okzipital (caudal / occipital) bei einem menschlichen Schädel. Das Os occipitale, das die Hinterhauptsregion des Schädels (beim Menschenaffen und Menschen funktional Teil der Schädelbasis) einnimmt, und auf das sich die Bezeichnung occipital bezieht, ist grün hervorgehoben.
