Description
Deutsch: Zeichen 114: Schleudergefahr bei Nässe oder Schmutz und Zusatzschild 841: Gefahr unerwarteter Glatteisbildung. Beide Zeichen gehören zur Straßenverkehrs-Ordnung (StVO) von 1970, die am 1. März 1971 in Kraft trat. Zeichen 114 besaß laut Verkehrsblatt 14, 1972, S. 464, sowie Verkehrsblatt 24, 1976, S. 758, eine Seitenlänge von 900 mm. Die Lichtkantenbreite betrug 10 mm, die rote Umrandung war 80 mm breit. Der Ausrundungshalbmesser betrug 40 mm. Das hier 700 × 350 mm große Zusatzschild 841 wurde zunächst mit einem weißen Sinnbild, das Schwarz umrandet war, hergestellt. Auf die rasch einsetzende Kritik, daß dieses Schild insbesondere bei Schneefall und Schneetreiben nur sehr schlecht erkennbar war, wurden bereits 1973 das Sinnbild in einer vollständig schwarzen Variante eingeführt (sh. auch: Zu Zeichen 114, Zusatzschild „Glatteisgefahr“. In: TÜ: Sicherheit + Zuverlässigkeit in Wirtschaft, Betrieb, Verkehr 13, 3 (März), VDI, Düsseldorf 1972. S. 71–72.). Zeichen 114 und das Zusatzschild 841 wurden in dieser Form bis Ende Juni 1992 hergestellt. Damals wurden im Zuge einer Gestaltungsnovelle der StVO das Sinnbild für Schleudergefahr geändert und am Zusatzschild die Gesamtgrößen des Schildes neu bestimmt.
