I am experiencing numerous problems with the ios app:

  1. It is not possible to translate pages, which is present on Android and PC
  2. If you turn on night mode, you can’t turn on automatic dark mode because the app sets to dark mode
  3. Many sites indicate to disable the ad block, even if you disable it they keep showing the same error (which you pc and android does not happen)
  4. It would be nice to be able to swipe left and right to switch between tabs (as happens on the android app and safari for ios)

I use version 1.48.1 (23.3.2.0)
I listed the problems that occur on ios and the missing functions, which on android and pc do not occur. On android I have never installed any mode apk

  1. At this time this feature is not available for the iOS version of Brave. If you’d like you can open a feature request here https://community.brave.com/c/brave-feature-requests/57.
  2. Does this happen on other chromium based browsers such as chrome or edge?
  3. Please check and manage your shield settings by going to Menu --> Settings --> feature --> Brave Shields & privacy and make sure Upgrade connections to HTTPS is disabled.
  4. Same as one.

  1. That’s a feature of brave, so it’s not available on other chromium-based browsers
  2. Even if I disable Upgrade connection to HTTPS the sites give the same error. By disabling phishing and malware blocking some sites work, but others still do not work even if I disable all options

@Usernamex try deleting your cookies from the app to see if the issue is solved.

  1. Launching Brave, tap Menu --> Settings
  2. In the Features section, tap Brave Shields & Privacy
  3. Clear private data > Cache - cookies and site​ data > clear data now

Let me know if that works.

@Usernamex is there any available update for Brave on the App store? If there’s one try updating the app.

If you are up to date, try the same on different Chromium based Browsers such as Chrome or Edge to see if the issue persist there.

No, there is no update available. With other chromium-based browsers, the problem doesn’t occur because they don’t have ad blocking

To access it go to Menu → Settings → Features → Brave Shields & Privacy

@Usernamex try enabling only Block cross-site trackers, Upgrade connections to HTTPS, block fingerprinting and redirect to AMP pages to see if you no longer get those pop-ups.

I found another site that is impossible to visualize with iOS: community.oppo.com/wap/home keeps reloading even if you turn off all the settings. On Android it has no problem

Are you able to access those sites while using private mode on your device?

No, not even if I use two different iphones

@Usernamex on the privacy and shields settings look for Block Popups and Block dangerous sites and turn it off to see if the pages you are trying to access work properly.
