Hi @MAYIXIN,
Hi @MAYIXIN ,
There might be 2 possibilities at least, depending on your BSP version :
1. If you stay with pure Yocto image, you could inspire from the BSP of the iMX8M Plus AI Robot Platform : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/i-MX-%E6%9C%BA%E5%99%A8%E4%BA%BA%E5%B9%B...
2. You could also use Ubuntu based image and install ROS on the top of it. NXP Yocto offers possibility to bitbake Ubuntu image since Linux 5.10.9_1.0.0. See more here : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/I-MX8M-plus-AI-Robot-platform-Ubuntu-OS/m-p/1282237 or https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/Yocto-build-fails-on-ubuntu-22-04LTS/m-p/1579880
Prior Linux 5.10.9_1.0.0, you have to generate the Ubuntu rootfs manually, but not recommended as the BSP might be too old for iMX8M Plus. For example : https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors-Knowledge-Base/Build-Ubuntu-For-i-MX8-Series-Platform/t...
Hope this help!
