Description

HYDROCORTISON Cream is a proven remedy for treating insect bites, allergic skin diseases and other skin inflammations. The cortisone related substance it contains is a natural hormone that is produced by the body itself. The cream has an anti-inflammatory effect, eliminates itching and reduces redness, swelling and pustules.

  • Follow the instructions given by the doctor or pharmacist when using the cream. Uncertainties regarding the active ingredients should be clarified.
  • For insect bites and allergic skin diseases, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the cream should be applied thinly to affected areas 2-3 times a day and rubbed in gently. After improvement, once a day or every 2-3 days is often sufficient. Even after the symptoms have subsided, the cream should be used for a few more days to prevent recurrence.
  • The cream can be used for a maximum of 2 weeks and is suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age.
  • The treatment time depends on the individual and the result of the therapy. If the treatment lasts longer than 2 weeks, it needs medical supervision.
  • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.
  • If you use more than you should
      • There are currently no known symptoms of poisoning. In the event of an overdose, side effects may increase. If you experience limitations due to side effects, please contact your doctor so that he can take the necessary measures.

    • If you forget to use:
      • If the dosage of the cream is insufficient or if an application is forgotten, you should continue the treatment as usual next time without applying the cream more frequently or thickly.

    • Effects when treatment is stopped
