Country legend Travis Tritt will perform live in concert at the Majestic Valley Arena in Kalispell on Aug. 1.

Three decades after Tritt launched his music career, the Southern rock-influenced artist continues to sell out shows and stay true and relevant to country music fans across the globe.

From helping reunite the legendary Eagles to being mentored by

such icons as Waylon Jennings, Kenny Rogers and Charlie Daniels, to becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry, music has opened many doors for the talented Georgia native.

Tritt has left his own indelible mark on country music, thanks to his lifelong influences of Southern rock, blues and gospel. Tritt’s albums, seven of which are certified platinum or higher, led him to amass 30 million in career album sales, two Grammy Awards and four CMA Awards.

And the adventure is far from over. Among his 11 prior studio albums and numerous charted singles 19 are Top 10 hits, including “Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde,” “Here’s A Quarter” and “It’s a Great Day to be Alive.”

With the release of his new album “Set in Stone,” this month, Tritt embarks on the next chapter of his career armed with the distinctive voice and insightful songwriting that have served him well for more than three decades. With “Set in Stone,” to be released May 7, Tritt returns to his traditional country roots woven with a touch of Americana. The new album features 11 new songs, eight of which were co-written by Tritt and marks Tritt’s first original full-length studio album in over a decade. Opening with the rowdy “Stand Your Ground” and mixing in powerful love songs and country rock tunes, Tritt describes his new album as “getting back to a no-frills classic, outlaw-country sound.”

Opening the concert will be Kalispell-born and Butte-raised, Tim Montana, who now lives in Nashville where he performs and has been co-writing with such top artists as Kid Rock, Foo Fighters and ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons. Montana sang his song “Butte, America” on the “Late Show with David Letterman” and has most recently co-written Tritt’s new single “Smoke in a Bar,” which was released in March.

Concert tickets start at $38 and may be purchased at the Majestic Valley Arena ticket office or online at www.majesticvalleyarena.com
