Curtis Stigers

Returning from his European tour, Durango will be the first USA stop on Curtis Stigers new album THIS LIFE Tour : a celebration of three decades of musical exploration, evolution and growth. His performance will include hit singles from one of the biggest-selling pop albums of all time “I Wonder Why,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “You’re All That Matters to Me,” “Summertime,” and “Never Saw a Miracle — as well hits from his award-winning jazz albums.

For the past 30 years Curtis Stigers, the singer, songwriter, saxophonist and guitarist has been making records that confound those who try to categorize his music or put him in a box. He’s played for presidents and princes, and he’s recorded thirteen studio albums and a live album singing Sinatra songs with a big band from Denmark. Along the way, Curtis Stigers has redefined the constitution of contemporary jazz singing. After being mentored in his early years by legendary jazz pianist Gene Harris, he went on to release nine critically-acclaimed, award-winning jazz albums.
