This Saab 900 Turbo Ruby Edition is extremely rare!
For some it's just an old car. The others, the initiated, prick up their ears when the word Ruby Edition is mentioned. The edition is rare, it represents the last edition of the classic Saab 900 Turbo, which is a design icon. With the Ruby models, Saab once again showed the original 900 line without diluting it with airflow additions.
It was unfortunate that the 900 Turbo Ruby Edition was only intended for the UK. On their island, the ex-Europeans honor the custom of mounting the steering wheel on the wrong side. And of all things, all 150 Ruby models were delivered as right-hand drive vehicles. Is it really like that?
No. As is often the case, there were exceptions to the rule and a few edition models correspond to the customs of the continent. They carry the steering wheel where it should be. Just like this extraordinary Saab 900 Turbo.
