The new — well, new-ish — animated series Doctor Who: The Power of the Daleks will play in cinemas on Nov. 14, BBC America and Fathom Events announced Wednesday.

The Power of the Daleks was originally a live-action, six-part adventure, starring Patrick Troughton as the titular Time Lord. The project was broadcast in the U.K. way back in 1966, but the master negatives were destroyed in an archive purge in 1974. This new, animated version is based on original audio recordings, surviving photographs, and film clips.

The Power of the Daleks finds Troughton’s Doctor, Polly (Anneke Wills) and Ben (Michael Craze) battling the Daleks on the planet Vulcan. The series is produced and directed by Charles Norton, with character designs from comic book artists Martin Geraghty and Adrian Salmon. The cinema screenings will also feature exclusive bonus content, including interviews with members of the original cast. BBC America will screen The Power of the Daleks on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8:25 p.m. ET.
