THE VERONICAS

POP • ROCK • THROWBACK

The Veronicas hail from Australia, yet their impact has been felt around the globe. Jessica and Lisa Origliasso, twin girls born on Christmas Day, were teenagers when they moved to LA, signed a record deal with Sire Records, and released their first album, The Secret Life Of… and three top ten singles including the timeless anthem 4EVER. A single and second album followed, called me HOOK ME UP. The single became The Veronicas first number-one, followed by the iconic UNTOUCHED. After leaving Sire and signing with Sony, The Veronicas surprised their fans in 2014 by releasing a piano-driven ballad, YOU RUIN ME. A brave departure from their normal sound, YOU RUIN ME rewarded The Veronicas with their second Australian number-one single, and was top five on the UK charts. Two years later, the Veronicas were back again in the number one position with their slice of euphoric, Ibiza-style house with IN MY BLOOD.

In 2019, The Veronicas once again sit at the forefront of pop with their newest release THINK OF ME, combining a hybrid of genre elements to create a blueprint that feels nostalgic yet ahead of the game. The Veronicas spectacular 15 year career speaks for itself: Solidified as Australian Icons, the first Australian artists ever to score a platinum record for downloads in the US (over 1 million records sold for 2007’s “Untouched”); nine top 10 hits in Australia including three #1s; 500 million-plus streams, 2 ARIA awards, and over 175 million youtube/VEVO views.
