Ingredients:
Peanuts- ¼ cup Roasted
Dry Coconut- 1 tsp Shredded
White Sesame Seeds- ½ tsp
Garlic cloves - 4
Green Chillies - 4
Oil- 3 tsp
Mustard- ½ tsp
Cumin- ½ tsp
Asafoetida- a pinch
Curry Leaves- 1 sprig
Turmeric Powder- ½ tsp
Salt- to taste
Coriander Leaves-a few
Water- as required
Steps:
Add garlic, coriander leaves, green chillies, water to a blender and grind them to a coarse paste.
Connect the power cord to ROBOCOOK and switch ‘ON’ button. Press the Sauté́ Button in front dashboard and wait for 30 secs for the inner cooking pot to get heated up.
Add dry coconut, white sesame seeds to the inner cooking pot and roast them until they turn light brown. Press cancel to stop sauté. In a blender add peanuts, roasted dry coconut, white sesame seeds and grind them to a powder. Keep aside.
Press sauté option. Add cooking oil to the inner cooking pot and let it heat a bit.
Add mustard, asafoetida, garlic paste, onion and sauté until onions turn translucent.
Then add salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala one by one and continue to sauté until the masala blends well.
Next add tomatoes, coconut milk and asafoetida. Stir well for 5 minutes. Now add the ground peanut powder, coconut coriander paste, salt and mix well. Press cancel to stop sauté.
Place the closing lid over the top, Turn and place the Pointer in ‘Close’ Position. Ensure the lid is firmly closed and Pressure release button should be on ‘DOWN’ Position.
Press the ‘Sambhar’ pre-set menu button in the ROBOCOOK and select Quick. PIC TECHNOLOGY pre-sets temperature/pressure/timer for pre-cooking
After Pre-Cooking is done the cooking countdown will appear and starts down from 5 mins. Once the countdown comes down and cooking is completed it stops with 3 Beep sound and automatically switches to KEEP WARM mode. Press ‘Cancel’ if not required.
Wait for 10 mins to get Natural Pressure Release (OR) it can be released manually by pulling ‘UP’ the pressure release button. Ensure the pressure is released completely on both the methods
Now TWIST and Open the cooker. Switch to Keep warm or Off mode. Give a quick stir.
Revel in the appeasing Zirka with rottis.
