LINKES Community Group is working on the frontline of a rapidly changing Glasgow. In the small area it serves there are residents from many cultures and our workload reflects the diverse needs and strengths within the community. LINKES runs groups, events and activities for all local residents.
Working in a vibrant community project within the heart of the Lincoln Avenue estate, Knightswood, Glasgow, this role would suit a skilled Community Development worker with a background or an interest in supporting people through the cost of living crisis and in developing community activity., including signposting drops in, food related activity and our forest garden.
Hours: Term Time: Up to 8 hours per week (mainly after school)
School Holidays: up to 15 hrs/week (day time)
Hourly Rate: £13.50

We are looking for playworkers with amazing energy and ideas, who love to be active and have fun! Our Playworkers bring play to the heart of the Linkes community: encouraging, supporting and motivating Children & Young People (CYP) to participate in free play activities and enjoy the outdoors in an Open Access setting.
Linkes playworkers provide an inclusive service so that children and young people will have fun, stay safe, be inspired, make friends, learn and contribute, while gaining life skills socially and individually. Playworkers assist the Children & Young People’s Development Worker to organise, deliver and facilitate such stimulating and innovative free play sessions.
