Working in a vibrant community project within the heart of the Lincoln Avenue estate, Knightswood, Glasgow, this role would suit a skilled Community Development worker with a background or an interest in supporting people through the cost of living crisis and in developing community activity., including signposting drops in, food related activity and our forest garden.

Hours: Term Time: Up to 8 hours per week (mainly after school)

School Holidays: up to 15 hrs/week (day time)

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Our Playworkers bring play to the heart of the Linkes community: encouraging, supporting and motivating Children & Young People (CYP) to participate in free play activities and enjoy the outdoors in an Open Access setting.

Linkes playworkers provide an inclusive service so that children and young people will have fun, stay safe, be inspired, make friends, learn and contribute, while gaining life skills socially and individually. Playworkers assist the Children & Young People’s Development Worker to organise, deliver and facilitate such stimulating and innovative free play sessions.
