COBBTOWN, Ga. – The Georgia Southern women's golf team took three of five matches against Augusta to earn the match-play victory on Sunday at Ohoopee Match Club.

Regina Plascencia, Louise Reau, and Haley Yerxa picked up victories to secure the three points needed to win.Reau and Yerxa got out to an early lead in each of their matches and never looked back for a 5&4 win and 6&5 win, respectively. Plascencia opened play trailing after the first hole then took the lead on the fifth hole never trailing from then on to take a 4&3 win.
