I have translated "to spend time" into German. I have found:
1) Zeit brauchen
2) Zeit aufwenden
3) Zeit aufbringen
4) Zeit verbringen
What is the difference between them?

"Zeit brauchen" is the equivalent to "to need time"
"Zeit aufwenden" is the equivalent to "to spend time" but in a work related sense.
"Zeit aufbringen" is similar to "aufwenden" but more in the sense of "to make room for something"
"Zeit verbringen" is "to spend time" again, but this time for leisure purposes. Like "to spend time with someone"
