Weather Alert: Highway 21 resumes after avalanche risk closure

IDAHO CITY, Idaho (CBS2) — Update

According to Idaho 511, Highway 21 is back open between Grandjean and Banner Summit.

Idaho Transportation Department closed Highway 21 in both directions due to the risk of an avalanche.

The highway is closed from Grandjean to Banner Summit in both directions.
