Event Description: 

Join Science Heads, OC Parks and the NIX Nature Center celebrate International Observe the Moon Night.  On this night people all around the world will be observing the Moon and celebrating NASA's missions of exploration from Apollo to current missions such as LRO and planned explorations going forward.

Science Heads' Mobile Observatory will be on hand with it's large telescope showing astounding views of the Moon and other solar system objects.  Have fun with hands-on activities and interactive NASA software as you learn how much lunar science has advanced in the 50 years since Apollo 8 brought the first astronauts to the Moon.

Appropriate for people of all ages.  Weather permitting.
