Zusammenfassung

Turboverdichter sind Strömungsmaschinen zur Verdichtung von Gasen nach dem dynamischen Prinzip. Als Element der Energieübertragung auf das Gas dient das beschaufelte, kontinuierlich durchströmte Laufrad. Druck, Temperatur und Geschwindigkeit des Gases sind nach dem Verlassen des Laufrads größer als am Eintritt. Das dem Laufrad nachgeschaltete Leitteil sorgt für weitere Druck- und Temperaturerhöhung durch Verzögerung der Geschwindigkeit (s.  R  1).
