Zusammenfassung

Primäre Tumoren des Knochens und des Bindegewebes stellen eine sehr seltene Entität dar. Insbesondere primär maligne Knochen- und Weichgewebetumoren gehören zu den seltensten malignen Neoplasien im klinischen Alltag. Die Diagnosestellung erfolgt meist durch den Orthopäden bei der Abklärung unspezifischer muskuloskeletaler Schmerzen oder neu aufgetretener Schwellungen. Die Kenntnis um primäre Knochen- und Weichteiltumoren sowie deren Diagnostik stellt daher einen wichtigen Bestandteil des orthopädischen Alltags dar und erfordert einen engen Dialog mit den Kollegen der Radiologie. Ziel der weiterführenden Bildgebung ist die bessere Eingrenzung der festgestellten Neoplasie und insbesondere die Unterscheidung zwischen benignen und malignen Läsionen. Dieses Kapitel soll einen Überblick über die häufigsten Knochen- und Weichteiltumoren, deren Diagnostik (bildgebende Kriterien zur Unterscheidung benigne vs. maligne) und Grundlagen der Therapie geben.
