My gsp is spreading very quickly, much quicker than I would like it to and has reached a couple of my zoa colonies. I've peeled away what I can, but to really get the gsp under control I am going to have to pull the rocks (Which I really really do not want to do!) I'm wondering if the gsp will choke out my zoas or if it will somehow be held at bay by the zoas. What do you all think?

If the polyps on the zoas are big enough to shade the GSP then maybe the zoas. Not really sure though.

This stuff has spread like crazy! Was originally on just one 6" x 4" rock. Now it has crossed gaps and is invading Sweeden, Normandy, and France!

Anybody got a lawnmower or hedgetrimer for this stuff LOL!

GSP will win. It can grow in partially shaded areas, so there is no stopping it unless it was stung by a coral.

I don't know much about Zoas or GSP, but if you ever wondered who would win a fight between a Pavona and Montipora, the answer is Pavona. And just when the Monti was really starting to grow and encrust the rock. Oh well, I really need to move it to a higher, brighter spot anyway so it will get the green background color.
