You were beginning to…get used to it.

To them being human sized.

The witch that “cursed” them told you it was actually their true forms and that they were never meant to be little pocket humans in the first place. Things were chaotic from the moment you walked into your apartment and found your once pocket cuties be grown men that were around your age. (And stripped naked because they didn’t have any clothes that fit them). And then things became even more chaotic after finding out the truth when you sought out the witch because now you had to take care of seven grown men.

You had to buy them phones, new clothes, the grocery prices rose, and it was crowded living in your tiny apartment. But you guess you could say things worked out in the end. You got to return home into large pair of arms you never got to when they were pocket sized.

But then there was a downside. Well…sort of a downside.

They were extremely hot and they couldn’t even understand how handsome they were (except Jin). You knew that as little pocket men, they were good looking. But it was a cute good looking, eyes so rounded and big like little kittens and puppies running around your floor.

But now? Now their eyes blazed of unintentional sexiness, beauties that could rival the gods. Yet they never truly understood what that meant.

So whenever you’d blush around them walking around shirtless as they were used to when pocket sized, their eyes would just go into confusion, wondering what was so wrong about that.

“You can’t do that anymore Kookie,” you chided at the youngest, face flushed as you tried to focus on his face. Just his face. Not his body. “You’re human now and I’m a girl.”

“Oh,” he’d say but still not understanding the whole ordeal so he’d just shrug and walk away, finding some shirt (that usually belonged to someone else) and plopped it on himself.

But sometimes, sometimes things were even worse.

“Can I kiss you?”

You blinked at Jin, at the way his eyes stared at you and the way his body slowly crept up to your bed, stalking slowly like you were a prey to him.

“What do you mean kiss me? Jin-”

“I want to kiss you,” he said bluntly, face almost expressionless as he took ahold of your hand that reached out to push him away. “Please.” His eyes looked like he was begging for a moment, pinning your hand beside your head when he finally hovered above you.

“Why?” You asked him, unsure of what else to say.

“I’ve kissed the other guys before both as pocket sized and as a human and I’ve always wanted to try your lips.”

Your face was heating up fast as his other hand touched your face with such delicacy. As if he was used to that, as if he’s done it before and he probably did, with the other guys that sat just outside your room, in the living room. You wondered what they were up to, if any of them were peeking in and watching the show.

“Your lips are so pretty, Y/N.” His thumb grazed against it while licking his own lips. “Can I taste it? Just for a second, please. Just give me one second, that’s all I’m asking.”

Why was he so desperate? Didn’t kissing the six other men in your apartment good enough? Why you?

You gulped as he leaned in closer, face just inches away while his nose brushed yours. “Want to kiss you,” he whispered and you could feel his breath on your skin. “Please Y/N.”

You had to give him permission in order for him to execute his work. You taught them all that whenever they wanted to do something out of the ordinary and needed permission, you had to give them the command of execution before they could do whatever they wanted to do. But that was when they were pocket sized, surely he’d still oblige to those rules, right?

“I won’t kiss you unless you say yes.” Of course he’d still follow the rules. He was a gentleman after all. “What will you say?”

You laid there without a word but Jin made no effort to move away, waiting for your answer. Then, finally you opened your mouth. “Y-”

But the ring of your phone was quick to shut you up. You didn’t leave right at that moment however, eyes still glued on Jin for seconds longer before pushing him away and grabbing your phone. “Hello?”

Jin groaned at the distraction. “You’re so lucky,” he muttered, careful not to disturb your call as he placed a kiss on your temple then left you alone to your gadget. You watched him leave, the blush still visible on your face as you tuned out to the person on the other line for a moment.

You had been so close to tell him yes. Yes that he could kiss you. And maybe you’d still not regret it if the phone hadn’t rang.

“So?” Namjoon wiggled his brows as Jin plopped himself onto the sofa. They all watched him with curiosity, wondering what the results were.

“I was so close, this close to her lips and her saying yes but then her damn phone rang!”

The younger ones groaned in response, disappointed in the answer.

From where you were, the call didn’t last long but you sat there contemplating your life choices. Did you actually wanted to say yes? Was Jin really about to kiss you? Surely he understood that kisses meant a lot to you, you’ve told him and the guys that. So was hearing your cut short response something that told him you were interested too?

You ran your hands through your hair before falling onto your pillows and squealing, foot kicking away because you had been this close to kissing him.

How could seven male that looked like the cutest things in your eyes, ones you wanted to take care of for the rest of your life and would kill anyone that hurt even a hair of them, suddenly made your heart beat faster, brought butterflies to your stomach, and made you almost give into the urges in wanting to kiss them?

You were screwed. So screwed.

“Are you happy being bigger?”

“Hm, happy to be taller than you,” Jungkook bragged and you rolled your eyes with a sigh. “Isn’t that amazing, Y/N? You don’t have to use a stool to reach things out of your reach anymore. Now you can just ask one of us.”

“Time’s changed,” Yoongi chuckled as he hugged you from behind. You jumped at the sudden action, still trying to get used to how affectionate they still were but as humans. “Now you’re the tiny one.”

“Is this the only thing you guys are getting out of this?”

“Of course not,” Jungkook said, walking forward to sandwich you against him and Yoongi. “Now we get to take care of you and hold you when you cry and you don’t have to worry about our annoying little butts running all over the floor anymore.”

You giggled at the memories. Yes, memories. Now that they were grown in size, you couldn’t go back to those little days anymore. “You guys aren’t annoying.”

“Good because they were pretty annoying to me,” Yoongi said, rolling his eyes.

“Oh come on hyung,” the younger one whined, “you love us.”

Yoongi laughed at Jungkook’s little pout before placing a sweet assuring kiss on his lips. You stood there in the middle, feeling as if you were disrupting a moment with them, feeling out of place. They were always so loving towards each other even as pocketed sized and that never changed. Sometimes you envied them back then for the reason that they had each other to love while you had no one, but knew not to say anything because they were little.

But now? Now your heart was breaking a little for a whole different reason.

“Hey Y/N?”

“Hm?” You looked up at Jungkook who was now just inches away from your face. “Can I kiss you too?”

“What?” You blinked, flustered again and your face flushed red.

“Me too Y/N, I want to kiss you too.”

You looked away, taking Yoongi’s hands that had been around you off and took a step back from the both of them. “You can’t kiss me,” you said and their faces fell.

“Why not?” Yoongi asked.

“Because kisses are important to me, you know that. You have to be serious otherwise it’ll break my heart.”

“We never want to break your heart,” Jungkook quickly assured as he took your hands into his, “Not you, not ever.”

“We’re serious Y/N.”

You turned around to find Jimin walking in with the others behind him.

“We’re serious,” Jungkook echoed his hyung, grabbing your attention again. “You kiss the people you love, right? I thought you loved us.” His eyes began to tear a little and your heart broke a little more at just the sight. You hated when they cried and hated it even more because you were the reason to it. “We love you,” he declared.

“I don’t think you understand what-”

“Of course we understand!” Namjoon argued. “We loved you from the moment you went out of your way nursing Taehyung back to health even though you were so busy. You even refused to fall asleep just to make sure he was alright and that was a month after we met you. You worked hard to finish up your papers and studies yet still found time to care for him, putting him before yourself.”

“It’s been four years, Y/N, and you still put us before your health,” Taehyung said. “We love you for your heart yet never told you because we were too little and felt that that wouldn’t work out.”

“I loathed at just the thought of you ending up with someone else, someone human sized.” Hoseok stepped forward to you, brows furrowed at just the thought of you happy with someone else. “But we’re normal size now and you can love us just the way we love you.”

You hated that they were trying to convince you to love them when you already did. They felt the need to plead for your love, thinking they weren’t enough. But still, you stepped away taking your hands off Jungkook, shaking your head. “You can’t love me.”

“Why not?” Jin challenged. “Why can’t we love you?”

“Because I…— why would you love me?” They heard the crack in your voice, saw the tears brimming in your eyes waiting to fall. “You have each other. I’m not going to ruin that.”

“You won’t have to ruin anything,” Taehyung tried to compromise. He took a step closer and you took a step back. “You think that just because we have each other means we can’t love you? We love you with all our hearts, you were the first one we loved and still do.”

“Why?” You asked, the tears falling and they felt their hearts shattered. “What’s there to love?”

“What isn’t there to love?”

“A lot of things!” You shouted at Hoseok, arms coming around to hug yourself because of the insecurities that mostly came up due to past relationships. “You’ll soon find a reason not to love me so I advise you not to start anything.”

“But baby-”

“I…I-I’m not your…” baby.

“But you could be.”

“Can we at least try it out?” Jimin asked after Jin. He walked up, passing Taehyung to take your hands into his, shaking a bit. “I don’t want to lose you,” he begged, his own tears flowing down those precious cheeks of his, the ones you knew you were always weak for. “I promise you we’re going to be better than anyone you’ve ever had before us.”

“That’s what they all said.”

“But you can trust us,” Jin promised. “We’re more than just eight people hoping to find refuge in each other’s arms, seeking out love from one another. We’re best friends who went through thick and thins, who cried to each other over little and big things. But do you know how hard it was for us seeing you cry and not being able to pull you into a warm hug like you’re always able to do? How hard it was to not give you little kisses, to make you feel like you could rely on us as well? Do you know how hard it was to be little tiny people?”

“We were so happy to know that that wasn’t our true form,” Namjoon said. “Now we can take care of you in the way you used to do and you can rely on us for things.”

“And we can be eight people who aren’t afraid to love each other.” You looked at Yoongi, his eyes also stained with some tears.

“If you’ll have us.” Jimin squeezed your hands and you looked back at him for a moment before looking around at the rest of them.

The sight of them made you wanted to burst out crying again. Jin was right, the eight of you had been through a lot. They saw you in your most vulnerable phases, when you were the happiest, when you felt angry at the world for trying to mess your life up. There were too many memories to count, each one of them precious to you and you were sure they were precious to them as well.

“I..” you began, “I’m sorry in advance.”

“You don’t have to be,” Jimin promised as his arms wrapped around your figure. “We love you for you, you won’t have to apologize for a thing.”

~~

Some days you’d wonder whether it was right or not.

Things weren’t all that fairytale and rainbows in the beginning because you were still so cautious of things, wondering if you were being annoying or bothering them or was too clingy, but eventually you fell into a rhythm again.

You realized that dating them wasn’t anything different. The only changes were the much more frequent kisses and how much more affectionate they were with you. They reminded you of lost little kittens and puppies following you around and always seeking for attention otherwise they’d probably die. But you never minded because it always made you feel wanted and loved. They gave the relationship a promising future, one you knew you’d never come to ever regret being a part of.

“Baby you know you can just ask for help when you’re trying to reach for things,” Jin laughed after leaning over you to easily grab the pancake mix for you.

At least, you thought he’d hand it right to you but he gave you that smirk instead, telling you he felt a little playful that morning.

You rolled your eyes at the man, holding out your hand for him to give you the box. “Jin come on, I gotta cook before the rest of the boys wakes up.”

“You gotta reach for it first,” he teased, grinning as his right hand raised all the way up so that you had no way to get to them. “Come on baby, you got this.”

You groaned. “Sometimes I feel like you guys put things in places higher than they’ve been just so you can see me struggle.”

“No,” Jin singsonged, “although that’s pretty cute but we only do it because it feels nice to feel needed and being able to help you out.”

“You’re a bunch of babies, not any different from when you were pockets.” You tried to grab for his arm to pull it down but he held you back with his free arm.

“Well unlike being pockets, we can actually help out now.”

You sighed, deciding it wasn’t really worth the effort. “That’s what it’s all about?”

“Of course it is.” Jin grinned, feeling like he’s won. “Can I help you cook?”

“Yes. Now can you give me back that pancake mix?”

“Not before you give me a kiss.”

You sighed again, rolling your eyes but still obliged.

Spoiled. They were all spoiled. Jin leaned down happily as your arms wrapped behind his neck, rewarding him with a morning kiss. It was short, not how he wanted so he grabbed you back before you could leave and sent you in bliss with a sweet kiss.

“You’re going to die Kim Seokjin.”

He smirked, chuckling. “You look breathless, Y/N, literally.”

“Guys?”

The two of you turned around at the voice, leaving the comfort of each other’s arms to find Jimin walking in with one eye open, beautiful bed head, and then a yawn leaving his lips. The two of you melted at the sight, cooing at how cute he looked.

“Morning Minnie,” you giggled, giving him a morning kiss on the cheek. “Are the others awake as well?”

“No, they…” another yawn, voice croaky and deep, “..still sleeping. Minnie will wake them up.”

“Alright you do that,” Jin laughed. “Breakfast will be done in a moment.”

“M'kay,” the younger one nodded, leaving after Jin kissed him on his head.

The two of you watched as he stumbled into the guest room, a room that had once been unused when they were pockets but then given to a few of them because they couldn’t all sleep in your room. The people using it rotated once in a while between yours and the guest room and at the moment, Yoongi, Namjoon and Jin were using it.

“Yoonie? Joonie?” Jimin called, his voice soft and melodic with a hint of sleepiness in them. Namjoon let out a small grunt while Yoongi stayed silent, still in dreamland. “It’s morning.”

“Yes…it is.”

He wanted to laugh at Namjoon but decided he was still too sleepy for that. Making his way in, Jimin tugged at their blanket. “Y/N and Jin are making breakfast.”

“Come here Minnie,” Namjoon said and before the younger man could protest, he grabbed him by the arm, forcing Jimin to fall in between him and Yoongi.

“But-”

“Shh,” Yoongi hushed as the two of them adjusted themselves for Jimin to fit in the sandwich. “Too loud..wanna sleep.”

With his own self still not really processing the morning, Jimin was quick to be convinced. He huddled between the two of them, feeling warm and loved, eyes closed and ready to go back to sleep in another bed. In your room laid Hoseok in between Taehyung and Jungkook, their legs tangled, Hoseok’s arms around each boy with light snores leaving them all. And from the kitchen, you and Jin laughed together amidst the silence of the morning, playing around with the pancake mixes while your other lovers were still off in dreamland.
