Auf Wiedersehen, Sweetheart by George deValier. At 560 pages it makes We’ll Meet Again look tiny. I love these marbled papers so much.
Next up is Lily of the Lamplight and the other Veraverse stories that never made it past the first chapter.

#bookbinding #book binding #hetalia #veraverse #george devalierAnd George deValier’s Veraverse is done. So glad I’ll always have a copy of these regardless of what happened/happens to their online versions.
Ended up having to do the titles by hand because the bookcloth I used on the first three didn’t take foil well so it’s messier than I would have liked but oh well.
There’s also a decent jump in quality between the first and the last which makes me feel good that I am improving but also makes me want to go back and redo them.
First time trying to bind an A6 sized book. This size is so cute. I’d love to try doing a tiny book at some point.
Hetalia’s airing again so I’m back on my bullshit. This is We’ll Meet Again by George deValier. The rest of the Vera verse to follow.
One day I’ll figure out what to do about titles or I’ll finally cave and buy a cricut.
I’ve added Lily of the Lamplight and Gutters to my little Hetalia collection.
Besame Mucho is the last of the Veraverse to do.
And it’s done.
George DeValier’s We’ll Meet Again with an embroidered cover based on the handkerchief Arthur gives Alfred as a good luck token.
It’s quite a pleasant book to hold and read. I hope its new owner enjoys it.
I love Hetalia fanfiction with historical notes that are almost as long as the fic itself so I absolutely love DYK? anon’s stories from the kink meme. Plus, I love some good Australia rep. I had to split The Island off into its own volume because the anthology was getting bigger than I like my books to be.
If DYK? anon sees this and would like their own copies, please get in contact with me. I’d love to do that for you.
Another copy of Gutters by glassamilk. This one turned out so nice I almost wanted to keep it.
Just finished this copy of glassamilk’s Gutters.
I’ve found a cheat for foiling that’s really working for me and I think this is the neatest cover I’ve ever produced. It’s certainly the most book-looking book I’ve made.
A fun little flamingo book.
Got to use this scrapbooking paper I’ve had hanging around forever and try the faux leather bookcloth I purchased recently.
Lif & Lifthrasir by snark_sniper is a beautiful coming of age story set during the Blitz. I cannot recommend it highly enough even if you have no familiarity with Hetalia. It’s just a really well written and deeply touching story about young people finding their place in the world in the middle of war.
This painting is taking me forever so please enjoy a WIP shot of the front cover which is mostly done.
