Cauliflower coral- Pocillopora E. - on brass base
CO557-2
The cauliflower coral, observed underwater, looks more like a fruit than a vegetable! The polyps -the living part of the coral- of this Pocillopora Meandrina are pink. And the granular extremities of each branch look like raspberries! Needing sunlight, it does not grow very deep, and it rarely exceeds 25cm in diameter. (So this one is quite remarkable!) Small crabs (Tetralia) live in symbiosis at the base of the branches. It will be delivered to you with its own cites number since it is a protected species.
