In a new Today interview, the Grammy-winning singer opened up about the 25th anniversary of her 1998 smash hit, “Believe” and as she plainly put it, she’s not wowed by the milestone. “It’s not that amazing. It pisses the f--- out of me,” she said. The Burlesque actress, who turned 77 this past May, was then asked if she and aging are friends, to which she exclaimed, “No!” She went on to explain that, contrary to her late mother, actress Georgia Holt, who “didn’t mind” aging (Holt lived to 96), she is someone who hates it. “I’d give anything to be 70 again!” she confessed with a smile. I’m not trying to be young. I am who I am. I’m just getting along.”
