Chris Carmack – who plays gay country singer Will Lexington on the hit ABC show – is set to wed Erin Slaver, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. The actor-singer’s fiancée, who has appeared on Nashville as one of Juliette Barnes’ (Hayden Panettiere) backup singers, shared the happy news on Instagram Tuesday. “Sparkling drinks and fingers,” Slaver wrote of the shot of her and her husband-to-be (and a peek at the rock on that finger!), playfully rounding out her caption with ring and heart emojis. On Wednesday, Slaver took to Twitter to thank fans for sending their congratulations. “Wow, thanks everyone for all the love! I’m overwhelmed with happiness from your kind thoughts!” she wrote. The country couple hasn’t been shy about sharing their love story on the social media platform. On Valentine’s Day, she shared another picture with Carmack, 35, sharing a smooch in New York City. The pair has no doubt bonded over their shared love of music – especially seeing as they’ve collaborated. In October, Carmack played onstage with Slaver at the Grand Ole Opry’s 90th anniversary celebration, posting a performance shot on Instagram after the show. In December, Carmack released his Pieces of You EP, while Slaver is an accomplished fiddle player. The same month, the pair walked the red carpet together at the CMT Artists of the Year event in Nashville. •Reporting by SARAH MICHAUD
