Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen Welcome First Baby Together: 'Super Happy and Healthy'

Liev Schreiber and Taylor Neisen have announced the birth of their baby girl!

The Ray Donovan star, 55, and his former pageant queen wife, 31, shared the exciting news via social media on Wednesday, revealing that their bundle of joy arrived late last month. 

“So happy that Hazel Bee is finally here,” Schreiber wrote on Instagram. The proud papa shared two images of the newborn — the first being her tiny hand grasping his thumb and the second being her little foot.

“She arrived early in the morning of August 27th and has been a dream every day since,” Schreiber wrote, tagging Neisen in the post. 

The Emmy-nominated actor then gave an update on how his girls are doing. “Mom and baby are both super happy and healthy. Thanks to all for the love and support,” he concluded. 

Neisen has not publicly commented on Hazel Bee's birth yet. Her most recent Instagram post is a photo published on Aug. 23, days before their daughter was born. She shared a black-and-white photo of her growing tummy with a dog’s paw touching it. “BFFs,” she captioned the picture.

Schreiber’s newest addition makes him a father of three. The Asteroid City star and his ex, Naomi Watts, share two children, Sasha, 16, and Kai, 14. Watts and Schreiber were together for 11 years before announcing their split in 2016.

The former Miss South Dakota and Schreiber have been linked since 2017. Hazel Bee is Neisen’s first baby.

In June, Neisen showed off her baby bump when she attended a screening with Schreiber for his new limited series on National Geographic, A Small Light. Sasha was also with the pair as the trio posed for photos at the event. 

Neisen gave a more recent glimpse into her life in August when she shared a pregnancy update on her Instagram Story. In the photo, she and Schreiber stood belly to belly for a selfie. They both smiled in the sweet picture that showed the contrast of their stomachs.

The couple tied the knot in July and spent time in the Hamptons soon after, ahead of the baby’s arrival.

Schreiber often opens up on social media on the joys of fatherhood, like in January when he shared a video of himself and Sasha's trip to Nassau, where the teenager officially became a certified diver.

Neisen has shared her interest in helping animals. In 2022, she opened up about her love for rehabbing raccoons. 

“When they're strong enough for release I feel incredibly proud and happy but also selfishly sad that I must say goodbye," she wrote on Instagram, in part, with a photo of herself holding a raccoon.

"I put motion-sensor cameras outside because I'm a helicopter mom and seeing the footage makes me mushy inside," Neisen continued. "They've made friends with a fox, a mangy cat, a very fat raccoon, and are still hanging with their possum brothers and sisters. 🥹."
