Description
The Marble Cat Shark or Coral Catshark is considered a “true catshark” with a long slender body and a narrow head. It is a bottom feeder that is found in Northern Australia. The adult size of 24″ inches makes this shark the smallest ever encountered. The Marbled Cat Shark is considered a good aquarium choice. It is hardy and easy to take care of, though it will need a roomy marine aquarium to accommodate it when it reaches it’s adult size.
Natural foods include gastropod and bivalve molluscs with smaller amounts of crabs, shrimp, and small fish. The Marble Cat Shark or Coral Catshark can be kept with other fish and is usually no problem even with smaller fish that could be eaten. They usually only try to eat fish that are either dying or distressed.

I received a coral cat shark from Pete’s that appeared to have died from stress from shipping I reached out to Pete’s aquariums and told them my situation they rectified the situation in a timely manner I am completely satisfied with the way they handled my situation Pete’s aquariums replaced my shark with no expense to me shipping and all the new shark is so lively, very active a wonderful specimen, my shark at the next day he swims around the aquarium so majestic doing what sharks do I love my shark hats off to Pete’s aquariums I highly recommend them to anyone in the hobby I will patronize Pete’s aquariums I’d like to say once again thank you for being so professional and so caring to make sure my needs were tended to
