Rolf Ableiter hat sich mit den Produktionen „Silent Songs“ und „Silent Songs live“ auf eine Spurensuche nach dem melancholischen Kern der Musik begeben. Das Ergebnis ist eine außergewöhnlich ruhige, langsam atmende Musik die dem hochtechnisierten Alltag einen Kontrapunkt der Einfachheit entgegensetzt.

"It is as if you would stop the madness for a moment," an enthusiastic listener wrote after the band's concert at the DEW21 Jazz Festival in Dortmund.

With the two productions "Silent Songs" and "Silent Songs live" Rolf Ableiter went on a search for the melancholic heart of music. The result is an exceptionally quiet, slowly breathing music, which contrasts the highly engineered everyday life with simplicity.
