Description
Corpse Flower (Amorphophallus rivieri 'Konjac') in flower. This perennial plant of tropical South-eastern Asia is cultivated for its large, starchy edible corms. The corm can reach up to 25cm in diameter. These are used to make flour and a jelly which is rich in fibre, low in calories and promoted as a diet food.
