WYSIWYG Aquarium Conditioned-Flagfin Angelfish

Aquarium Conditioned-Flagfin Angel, Apolemichthys trimaculatus. WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) means you will receive the exact fish in the photo.

Size: ~4-5 inches. They will reach up to ~7.5+ inches with maturity.

We are excited to offer Flagfin Angelfish.  This is a unique angelfish originating from the Indo-Pacific. We are feeding them a variety of prepared foods including frozen Mysis shrimp, frozen Calanus, LRS frozen nano blend, Nori, and a variety of other foods at our farm. They will also graze on algae in the aquarium. 

Our Aquarium Conditioned fish are quarantined and observed at our aquaculture facility before offered for sale. We prophylactically deworm all our fish as well as run an anti-parasitic treatment on all of our fish.  

We recommend housing this species singly or as a bonded pair. If you want to keep them as a pair we recommend adding two individuals at the same time. They are a somewhat peaceful fish and may be okay to keep with our larger species of seahorses while they are small and young. Once they mature they will need to be separated as the angelfish can get somewhat large and territorial. They are a great species for our customers not keeping seahorses as well. There is a possibility of them nipping at corals. Keeping them well fed lessens the likelihood of them nipping on corals. Of course, keep an eye on them. We recommend a 75 gallon or larger aquarium size for this species.
