Peppermint Shrimp-Lysmata Sp.

Peppermint shrimp make good clean-up crew in a seahorse aquarium. They will eat left over food, scavenge and are peaceful with our captive bred seahorses. These are very popular and hardy. Peppermint shrimp can be kept in groups and add diversity to the aquarium. 

Size: ~1-2 inches. They will reach up to ~1-2 inches. Sizes vary.

Note: Large seahorses may snick at or eat peppermint shrimp. Often times the peppermint shrimp will hide in the rock work where the seahorses do not see them. When adding the peppermint shrimp to the aquarium it helps to add them with the lights out and lower them down to the rock work so they aren't swimming out in the open.
