Natural History: The Blue Hana Goby is usually found in pairs on the rubble and sand bottom of reef slopes. It inhabits burrows made by Alpheid shrimp, but does not interact with them.
Husbandry: The Blue Hana Goby is a peaceful fish that should not be housed with aggressive tankmates. It can be kept singly or in small groups. Live rock and sand should be provided. This species is a good jumper so a good aquarium covering is required to house it.
