Zuko von Zarkow is a stunning 12 month old long haired German Shepherd/Malinois mix. He is initially a shy guy, but once he comes out of his shell he is the goofiest and funniest boy, doing summersaults against the couch when he wants to lay down on the floor. Enticing anyone or any dog he can into a game of chase or fetch and cuddling up to his humans to tell them it is time to wake up and start the day. He is mischievous and if he decides that he is bored he will steal something within his reach and bring it to the backyard, leaving it there, so someone will come outside and play with him. Once he opens his heart to you, he is the kindest, most loving dog and will do anything for his owners.  Zuko will do best in an active home, that loves to go on walks, hikes, runs and the dog park. He is very friendly with other dogs and would do best either being with his human constantly or having a playmate to play with all day. He loves to be with his family and he will follow his person around everywhere they go all day long if he is given the opportunity. He loves to feel like he has some sort of job or purpose and has created his own jobs to keep himself entertained. He is highly trainable and loves to learn, picking up and mastering new tricks very quickly. He knows all of his basic commands and is housebroken.   Overall Zuko is an incredible boy, he loves to learn and play. He’s a goofy little cuddle bug who just wants to be loved and given as much attention as he can get.   Zuko passed all the requirements to be a service dog, but did not get the opportunity to go to training due to unforeseen circumstances.  If you are looking for fun and devotion, Zuko might be the one.
