WHAT ARE CLIMBERS?

We see climbers as weird, iconic structures that combine spaces for both robust physical exercise AND soulful contemplation.

Our climbers can live inside or outside. Some grow tree-like, branching 90 feet into the sky. Some stretch 50 feet across a room while only 10 feet in height.

Our climbers are truly custom and unrepeatable. We help tell your unique story.

As with anything custom, the price range varies. Our climbing structures have been designed, built, and installed from $1M to $10M USD. Early in our process, we work with you to develop an in-depth budget, considering your fund-raising capacity, project timing, and future operational bandwidth.

Our climbers comply with U.S. Public Playground Safety Standards.

Our climbers honor the materials, colors, and textures of Nature.

Our climbers are so much more than playground equipment. They mashup skill-based physical challenges with interactive art galleries, to promote profound, memorable play experiences.

WE ARE CURIOUS ARTISTS.

We work with partners who value creative expression and artistic engagement. If you are looking to challenge assumptions, if you want to be liberated from the expected, and if you aspire to create something better than "good," we would love to work with you.

WE ARE NOT A DESIGN-BUILD COMPANY…

… and that is a GOOD thing.

For us, each climber is an unrepeatable object of wonder that responds to its unique place in the world.

Rather than tether the creative process to fixed, off-the-shelf construction limitations and predetermined profit margins, we thoroughly prepare technical documents and specifications for each climbing structure, then work with leading national fabrication partners to ensure a seamless realization of your project. This promotes a competitive construction bid process and bolsters opportunities to employ the talents of craftspeople local to your project.

WE DESIGN WITH ALL AGES IN MIND.

We believe that learning through PLAY should be a life-long invitation. We create climbing structures that excite children AND adults. Like a well-crafted animated movie, we embed layers of discovery using a quality we call “sophisticated whimsy.”

We blend experiences so that young children can exercise agency, while older visitors have opportunities to make more complex decisions. We offer shared experiences that go beyond the everyday, that bring friends and families together and help them deepen their bonds.

WE HAVE ARCHITECTURAL + ENGINEERING MASTERY.

Our climbers are often a signature centerpiece and landmark that soar into the sky. Their bigness requires special architecture and engineering expertise, which are an integral part of our skill set.

We work with state-of-the-art computer technology and forward-looking structural engineers to safely and efficiently build never-seen-before things. We do this while utilizing conventional construction methods that most high-quality fabricators and contractors can execute. Our pragmatic approach to innovation allows for many more construction options— including potential partners local to your site, driving down costs.

WE KNOW THAT THE JOB ISN’T COMPLETE AT RIBBON-CUTTING.

During the design process, we work with you to develop the guidelines needed to safely and sustainably operate your new climbing structure. We know that creating one-of-a-kind experiences oftentimes breaks the mold. Even after your climber opens, we observe, tweak, and tailor the design to best meet the needs of your guests and team.
