Instrument Description
The Thermo-Shandon Cryotome E Cryostat is intended for precise sectioning of standard and non-standard materials in a temperature controlled environment. Features an automated, precise electronic specimen advance system and a microtome that is housed outside the cryochamber for easy cleaning and maintenance.
The precision microtome has a light balanced feel over the range of the advance mechanism.The Thermo-Shandon Cryotome E Cryostat features a microprocessor-based touch-key controls with specimen travel graphic indicator, and clear digital displays of cryochamber and cryobar temperatures.
The cryochamber is made of a high quality steel chamber with an automatic programmable formalin fumigation system. The Cryobar which has a quick freeze function to -60℃, giving the user maximum versatility with specimens.
