The brachioradialis is a muscle within the superficial compartment of the posterior forearm. The medial edge of the brachioradialis forms the lateral border of the cubital fossa.

  • Attachments: Originates from the proximal aspect of the lateral supracondylar ridge of humerus. It attaches to the distal end of the radius, just proximal to the radial styloid process.
  • Actions: Flexion at the elbow. Contributes to supination at the proximal radioulnar joint.
