Montblanc are a global brand renowned for luxury, providing a collection of prestigious writing instruments, watches, jewelry and leather goods. Their meticulously hand-crafted writing instruments and master timepieces are created in accordance with the luxurious world of Swiss craftsmanship which has been used to create a heritage brand dating back to almost 100 years.”Signature for Good” is the recent campaign initiated by Montblanc to support the charity UNICEF, based on the premise that education is the foundation for a better future. The key objective is to assist in ending cycles of illiteracy, to ensure children are equipped with the skills and the knowledge to realise their full potential, by ensuring teachers are sufficiently trained, children have essential learning  tools, sufficient supplies and materials and appropriate learning environments.

The collection launched to support the campaign consists of unique versions of the platinum-plated Meisterstück LeGrand and Meisterstück Classique, containing a blue sapphire. The Fine Leather Collection in black Saffiano leather is meticulously designed and manufactured by their master atelier in Italy. The Jewelry Collection created in stainless steel, embellished with a blue sapphire to honor Montblanc’s initiative on behalf of UNICEF, is finished with detailed perfection and master craftsmanship. For every piece in the Signature for Good collection sold between 1 March 2013 and 31 March 2014, Montblanc will donate part of its proceeds to support UNICEF’s education programmes which aims  to raise at least $1.5 million to build and maintain schools for underprivileged children within its Schools in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Hillary SwankThe campaign was officially launched as their charity initiative of the year at Montblanc’s pre-Oscars brunch held at the iconic Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. Invited guests were from the world of entertainment, young Hollywood and the worldʼs best producers, and included actress Hilary Swank, who travelled to Ethiopia with the mission to witness both the progress achieved to date with the help of funds raised by Montblanc, and the challenges still to overcome in the area of education. Actress Rosario Dawson, Patricia Arquette, singer Joel MaddenAlyssa Milano, actor Michael York, model Petra NemcovaJesse Metcalfe, Billy ZaneMimi RogersJane Seymour and director Tom Hooper, were also in attendance.
