For almost 30 years, the Donots from Ibbenbüren have succeeded in doing what many bands wish for: they are among Germany’s most successful bands, are played on the radio, sell out large halls and their albums reach high places in the charts. At the same time, however, they have remained a self-determined, authentic and credible punk band that refuses to be bent. Over the course of their career, they have built a large fan base worldwide, toured with superstars like Green Day and Billy Talent, and recorded Frank Turner. After their extensively celebrated 25th anniversary in 2019, the Donots went on a well-deserved break. Now they return after almost five years with one of the best albums of their career: “Today is a good day”.
