Split beat Krka to get their second straight win of the season

Game recap: Split has gotten their second straight win and their third win of the season after they defeated Krka on their home court. 

Split came out of the game playing terrific, they opened the game with a wild 15:0 run, but Krka didn't score their first points after 4 and a half minutes of play. By the end of the quarter, Split would score 29 points while Krka scored 19 points by the end of the first quarter after their scoreless drought to open the game. By the halftime break Split would improve their advantage to +12. In the second half Krka would try and cut into the Split lead but the hosts would not let them come close to their lead as they managed to hold on to the game. 

Key moments: The opening to the game set the tempo, and Split was on fire to start the game. The boys in yellow took control of the game right from the start with a massive 15:0 run, this gave them the cushion to continue the game with less pressure. With this run, they set the rhythm of the game that they continued to ride throughout all 40 minutes.

Man of the match: Mate Kalajžić put on a different yet terrific performance, he finished the game without missing a shot, he only took 2 shots from the field and shot 2 free throws for 7 points. Kalajžić dished out 8 assists and got a whopping 5 steals for a 24 valuation. 

Can't hide the stats: Free throw shooting was a big difference in tonight's match-up, Split hit 19 shots from the charity stripe on 23 attempts while Krka hit just 7 shots from the line on 11 attempts. Split was able to get to the free-throw line efficiently tonight which caused problems for Krka.
